| Q |
What
is the difference between the State (Open) Cup and the USYS
National Cup? |
| A |
Both
competitions are part of the Cal South State Competition.
The principal difference between the two competitions is that
the age group winners of the State Cup do not advance beyond
the state level whereas the age group winners of the USYS
National Cup advance to the USYS Regional and National championships.

| Q |
When
are the Cup Competition results updated? |
| A |
The
results are usually entered onto the WEB one hour following
conclusion of each game. |
| Q |
Why
am I not getting the latest results after they have been posted? |
| A |
A
common reason is that many Internet Viewer programs (such
as MOSAIC) will not re-load a web page from our server if
it thinks your PC already has the latest version. It may think
that it has the latest version even after your computer has
been powered off and turned back on. To ensure that you have
the latest page click the RELOAD function on your viewer.
This will force the viewer to reload the page onto your computer.
In
Netscape under the Network Preferences, you are given the
option of when Netscape is to verify if it has the latest
document. The default is once per session. If you override
the default and indicate "never", Netscape will
not show the latest document unless you click RELOAD. The
best setting is the default, so everytime you connect to the
WEB you will get the latest documents. Other browsers will
have similar options. |

When
are the venue locations posted for an age group? |

will post the venues as soon as they are confirmed. This is
typically two weeks before the first game. |
| Q |
Are

| A |

This site will be the sole source for much of the Cup Competition
