Gaming Circuits: Something for Everyone in Cal South Cal South sanctions seven of them. So, what exactly is a "gaming circuit"? How is it different from a league? The main difference: leagues register individual players and teams, while gaming circuits serve the function of scheduling games for teams whose players are registered by other leagues. Organizations sanctioned by Cal South can apply to be a league, a gaming circuit or both. Cal South sanctions around 200 leagues and 6 gaming circuits.
