The form below is only for organizations wishing to host a referee class/clinic for the 2014 registration year. THIS FORM IS NOT TO REGISTER FOR A CLASS. To register for a class, CLICK HERE:
A.) All event requests must be submitted (1) month in advance. Events will be posted once a week online. A confirmation email will be send out with instructions, please read it.
B.) All registrations must be done online. If you would like to reserve some spots for your members, please indicate that under the "Special Instructions".
C.) List of Registered Attendees, if you are paying for them.
If you are paying for your members, then we will need a list of registered attendees. Please contact Laura Dudoit at email@example.com
D.) Class will have to close registration 60 hours prior to the course/session because materials need to be sent out to the instructor(s).
Entry Grade 8 requires 16 hours minimum. Referees completing the class successfully can referee ALL youth games and be assistant referees in comparable games. There is no minimum age required to be a Grade 8 referee.
Entry Grade 9 requires 8 hours minimum. Referees completing the class successfully can referee recreational youth game U14 and younger only and assistant referee on any game U14 or below. There is no minimum age required to be a Grade 9 referee.
Re-certification for Grades 9, 8 and 7: To be able to re-certify all referees must have at a minimum 5-hours of training that can be accomplished by attending Cal South monthly training classes at different Referee Associations or by requesting a clinic known as “In-Service Make up” to meet the minimum yearly training requirements. In-Service make up clinic requires 8 hours at a minimum.
Testing Only session : This session can only be requested if referees have completed their yearly minimum training requirements. The clinic is at least 3 hours and only applies for Grades 9, 8 and/or 7.The duration of this clinic is a minimum of three hours.
Re-certification for Grades 6 and 5 will be scheduled by the State Referee Committee.
Upgrading for Grades 7, 6 and 5 will be scheduled by the State Referee Committee.
