Cal South is at the forefront of providing progressive soccer programs to all ages and skill levels, whether recreational or competitive, youth or adult. Cal South's member benefits are built around the opportunities and overall experience provided to our players. Some of the programs and events Cal South offers include:

Adult Soccer

Cal South was recently named by the U.S. Soccer Federation as the official state adult soccer association of Southern California. Cal South will be making major announcements in the coming months regarding the development of this exciting new program.

Gaming Circuits

Cal South sanctions competitive gaming circuits which include: Coast Soccer League, Presidio Soccer League, LA Futbol Circuit, Central Coast Soccer League, Golden Empire & Bakerfield Girls Soccer League.

Cal South Sanctioned Tournaments

Over 100 sanctioned competitive and recreational tournaments throughout the year hosted by our member clubs and leagues throughout Southern California.

Cal South Olympic Development Program (ODP)

Cal South's elite player identification program for placement on US national youth teams. Participants also compete in local, regional and national competitions. Cal South ODP is the single most successful ODP program in the country, with more players identified for the U.S. National teams and pools than any other state association ODP program.

Cal South ODP Camps

Day and week-long camps for boys and girls provide a fun and challenging environment which allows each player to train with our ODP coaching staff.

Recreational Leagues

Cal South sanctions over 80 recreational based leagues throughout Southern California. These leagues feature balanced teams, volunteer coaches, 50% minimum play requirements and a philosophy of fun and youth development.

Cal South Signature League

This advanced recreational soccer gaming circuit program is aimed at intermediate level players. This playing style focuses on preparing players, parents and coaches to development and transition from recreation to competitive play.

Cal South TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer)

Cal South's outreach program for athletes with physical or mental disabilities interested in participating in special youth soccer programs in a safe and fun environment.

CAL SOUTH SPECIAL EVENTS

Soccer Nation Expo

Cal South's two-day interactive soccer festival and consumer tradeshow. Over 30,000 soccer fans, friends and fanatics attend to experience soccer related exhibitors displaying the latest in soccer apparel, footwear and merchandise.

Nike Awards Banquet

Cal South's annual awards dinner celebration features six hundred-plus attendees recognizing Cal South's top teams, players, coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers.

State Cup Tournament

Cal South's annual tournament with over 1400 participating teams is played throughout Southern California soccer fields and complexes. The pinnacle of Cal South's competition each year, established in 1978.

National Cup Tournament

The Cal South National Cup is the "proving ground" tournament for over 600 local teams looking to make their way to the U.S. Youth Soccer Regionals and Nationals - the national showcase competition for the top youth soccer teams in the U.S.

Cal South College Showcase Weekend

Held annually in conjunction with the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) during the Quarterfinal and Round of 16 rounds of the Cal South National Cup, the Showcase allows players a prime opportunity for on-field face-time with college coaches from all over the country, but also offers these players free seminars on college recruitment tips and techniques.

Cal South Presidents' Summit

An annual gathering of Cal South Member League presidents at the Home Depot Center, where new Cal South initiatives and workshops involving member benefits, corporate governance and insurance policies are presented.
