There is less than one week left to register for the Youngers brackets for Cal South National Cup (U12-13) and Sports Authority State Cup (U9-U13). The registration deadline for the Youngers brackets is Friday, December 7, 2012.
Cal South National Cup has been held annually since 1978, and is the primary springboard by which Cal South teams can advance through the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. Champions at the National Cup (U12-U19) move forward to the US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals in June; champions there (U13-U19) advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships in July 2013. This will mark the first time that the U13 age group will be able to compete for a US Youth Soccer
National Championship. The cost for teams entering the Cal South National Cup is $745.
The Sports Authority State Cup is once again split into two separate divisions: Governors and Presidents. The registration fee for the Presidents Division is $665, while the fee for Governors is $565. The largest youth soccer tournament in the world, Cal South's State Cup competition has been held annually since 1978. U13-U17 champions in the Presidents Division advance to the US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup Championships in June; champions there move on to the US
Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup Finals in July.
