    FULLERTON, Calif. (May 20, 2016) — With the conclusion of the 2015/16 California Regional League, sixteen Cal South teams have earned a berth to the 2016 US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships, tournament set to be played June 20-26 at the Simplot Sports Complex in Boise, Idaho.

WEEK 12: RICHIE MARQUEZ LEADS PHILADELPHIA TO THE TOP OF THE EAST 

Philadelphia Union 1 – 0 DC United Cal South alumnus Richie Marquez gave the Philadelphia Union three crucial points as the club defeated I-95 rivals DC United on Friday evening in front of a home crowd. In stoppage time, Frenchman Sebastien LeToux sent a cross into the United box where Marquez slid to put the ball into the back of the net, scoring his first professional goal. Fellow Cal South alum Joshua Yaro and Chris Pontius started for Philadelphia, while Steve Birnbaum went the full 90 with United.

CAL SOUTH PRO+ ODP ANNOUNCES ITS PLAYER POOLS FOR BOYS & GIRLS 2000, 2001 & 2002 

FULLERTON, CA (Wednesday, May 10, 2016) -- Cal South PRO+ announced today its selections for its PRO+ ODP Player Pools for the Boys and Girls 2000-2001-2002 age group for the 2016 Spring/Summer Cycle.
