Any non-league match in which fees are charged, with the exception of a mutual sharing of standard referee fees, shall be considered a tournament and will therefore require appropriate Cal South sanctioning.

ELIGIBILITY FOR TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING
Tournament Applications must be submitted by a Cal South Affiliate MemberClub in good standing. Returning tournament applications will be considered in light of their reporting documents from the previous years. IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBMITTED LAST YEAR'S REPORTING DOCUMENTS, PLEASE DO SO BEFORE APPLYING FOR TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING.
REPORTING DOCUMENTS (refer to Tournament Manual Section VI.8)
Due within 72 hours of Incident or Tournament End
1. Disciplinary Report
Due within 30 Days of Tournament End
2. Program Development Subsidy
Due within 60 Days of Tournament End
3. Tournament Report
*Failure to submit the reports by the required deadline may result in a $250 fine.
Applications may be filed throughout the year and are no longer limited to two application periods. Approvals may be granted once the tournament application is complete and has met all Sanctioned Tournament requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: Only complete applications will be considered. Cal South will notify the tournament director at the email address provided if there is missing or inconsistent information. The date of application submission will be adjusted to the date the application was completed and all approval timelines will begin at the point at which a complete application was on file. If this occurs within 90 days before the tournament start date a Late Fee of $250 will be applied. Applications will not be considered if filed a year before the tournament start date or within 45 days of the tournament start date.

Monthly Tournament Spotlight Emails: Promote your tournament in monthly emails to 22,000+ coaches and administrators. Prices are based on ad positions, which are available on a first come, first served basis. Please email for availability. In order to receive a refund, Cal South must be notified at least sixty (60) days prior to the tournament spotlight email being sent out. Tournament spotlight emails are sent at the first of each month.
