Any non-league match in which fees are charged, with the exception of a mutual sharing of standard referee fees, shall be considered a tournament and will therefore require appropriate Cal South sanctioning.

A COMPLETE APPLICATION INCLUDES:

1. Cal South Application for Tournament Sanctioning
2. Receipt & Affidavit of Compliance
3. Tournament Referee Affidavit
4. Referee Agreement
5. US Youth Soccer Application to Host a Tournament or Games
6. US Youth Soccer Tournament Hosting Agreement
7. $100 Application Fee (club check payable to Cal South or credit card authorization form)
8. Tournament Rules

9. Exhibitor Access Interest Form (optional)

Before applying for a Spring tournament, please refer to the 2013 Sanctioned Tournament Weekend Availability chart for weekend eligibility.

IF FOREIGN TEAMS ARE INVITED, THE FOLLOWING MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH ALL ITEMS LISTED ABOVE:

10. Application to Host a Tournament or Games Involving Foreign Teams (HAPP 3-03)
11. U.S. Soccer International Tournament/Games Hosting Agreement (HTED 3-03)
12. $75 league check payable to U.S. Soccer

ELIGIBILITY FOR TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING
Tournament Applications must be submitted by a Cal South Affiliate MemberClub in good standing. Returning tournament applications will be considered in light of their reporting documents from the previous years. IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBMITTED LAST YEAR'S REPORTING DOCUMENTS, PLEASE DO SO BEFORE APPLYING FOR TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
The Cal South Board of Directors considers Sanctioned Tournament Applications at four meetings each year.
The deadlines are as follows:

SPRING APPROVALS
April 15
| Eligible for approval at the May meeting.
April 30 | Eligible for approval at the June meeting.

FALL APPROVALS
October 15
| Eligible for approval at the November meeting.
October 31 | Eligible for approval at the December meeting.

PLEASE NOTE: Applications submitted during other times of the year to be approved at the January, February, March, April, July, August, September, or October meetings must be submitted with a $500 late fee in order to be considered.

Cal South offers several advertising opportunities to its Sanctioned Tournaments:

Enhanced Listings:Highlight your listing and include a 200-character pop-up description.
Monthly Tournament Emails:Promote your tournament in monthly emails to 75,000+  coaches and parents. Prices are based on ad positions, which are available on a first come, first served basis.  Please email for availability.
