2012 SPORTS AUTHORITY CAL SOUTH STATE CUP | PRESIDENTS DIVISION

Cal South State Cup is made up of 2 separate divisions:

Teams must apply for the correct Cup, based on the "Play Level Guide". The system will scan all applications and those that have not been submitted to the correct play level will automatically be moved to the proper, corresponding Cup

GOVERNORS DIVISION
Open to all teams playing in a Cal South Sanctioned League in the Bronze division, or equal, or lower (includes all Recreation and Signatures League teams) in the U9 through U16 age groups.

PRESIDENTS DIVISION
1. In the Under 9, 10, 11, 18 and 19 age groups, Presidents division is open to all teams playing in a Cal South Sanctioned League in all play levels.
2. In the U12 through U17 ages, the Presidents division is open to all teams playing in a Cal South Sanctioned League in Silver Elite division, or equal, or lower. The Champions in the U13 through U17 age groups will represent Cal South in the US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup Regionals. Cal South teams U14 through U17 who win the Region IV Presidents Cup will represent Cal South and Region IV in the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Finals
Gold and Premier teams or equal in the U12 through U17 age groups must play in the Cal South National Cup.

2012 SPORTS AUTHORITY State Cup GOVERNORS DIVISION
$565.00 Entry Fee ($495.00, if paid by 10/14/2011)
FEBRUARY 25 & 26 -SOCCER NATION EXPO 2012 -- NO GAMES SCHEDULED

* Changes to team roster, adds, transfers, etc., including electronically posted changes to tournament entries made via Internet, must be posted by 6:00pm, evening before the draw.
**Changes to the roster, adds, club passes, etc., manually or electronically, must be posted by 6:00pm of this date

FOR STATE CUP YOUNGER GOVERNORS DIVISION, U09 through U13 tentative start is January 28-29, 2012. Tentative finish is February 20, 2012.
FOR STATE CUP OLDER GOVERNORS DIVISION, U14 through U17, tentative start is March 31, 2012, with a tentative finish of April 22, 2012.
There will be no games on Easter weekend, April 7 & 8

We will determine the exact dates when we have all applications in for an age groups and we know how many fields we will have available to work with. When entering State Cup Governors Division competition, please plan on playing any and/or all of the above dates for your age/competition groups

ACT NATIONAL TEST DATES
SEPT 10, 2011, OCT 22, 2011, Dec 10, 2011, FEB 11, 2012, APRIL 14, 2012, June 9, 2012
There are six ACT dates, so please, do not ask us to give your team off on April 14 , 2012

For STATE CUP YOUNGER PRESIDENT'S DIVISION, U09 through U13, tentative start is February 11-12, 2012. Tentative finish is March 4, 2012.
For STATE CUP OLDER PRESIDENT'S DIVISION, U14 through U19, tentative start is April 14, 2012, with a tentative finish of April 29, 2012.
There will be no games on Easter weekend, April 7 & 8

US YOUTH SOCCER PRESIDENT'S CUP REGIONALS: JUNE 12-17, DENVER, COLORADO
US YOUTH SOCCER PRESIDENT'S CUP NATIONAL FINALS: JULY 12-15, SACRAMENTO, CA

There must be at least one (1) Administrator with a white pass with the Administrator ID with the first four digits the same as the first four digits of the team ID on the player pass.

Team Registration is done at the fields, one and one half (1½) hours prior to your first scheduled game for that age group, unless otherwise notified. You will need to bring:
1. Pen
2. Laminated white player passes matching the team
3. Laminated white administrator passes matching the team
4. Medical Release Forms for all players (original white form) - must have original (wet) signatures

Team Game Roster Form will be provided at registration.

Check-ins for the teams (players/coaches) are held on the fields 15-20 minutes before game time.

For teams U16 and above who are carrying over 18 players on their team roster, you must designate on the Game Rosters the 18 players' eligible to play in said game. Teams must designate their Game Roster one hour prior to each game.

All Line-up Forms must be stamped with approval by the State Cup Committee before handing them to the referee.

Teams are responsible for referee fees for each game, except in he championship game (paid by Cal South). Referees will not start the game until all fees are paid in cash.

Coaches are responsible for themselves, their players, and spectators.

Any outstanding cards and therefore suspensions acquired during prior year's State or National Cup Tournaments will apply towards this year's State Cup Tournament. Outstanding cards and suspensions will follow the player and administrator in case of any transfers from the previous year. The team coach will be held responsible to ensure that all suspensions are served. If a team is found to have played a player who was on a red card suspension the team will forfeit out of the tournament and be subject to further disciplinary action.
