Any team that has not paid their application entry fee in full by the set deadline will not be allowed to participate. Your application is not complete until registration fee is paid and received in full.
If your team has changed their club affiliation since last year, or if your team has changed their team number, make sure to notify the Cup committee .

| STATE CUP - GOVERNORS CUP DIVISION |
Open to all teams playing in a Cal South Sanctioned League in the Bronze division, or equal, or lower in the U9 through U17 age groups. Teams may play Governors Cup, Presidents Cup or National Cup. There is no further competition outside of Southern California.
| STATE CUP - PRESIDENTS CUP DIVISION |
Must play at least Presidents Cup, can play in National Cup. In the Under 9, 10, 11, 18 and 19 age groups, Presidents division is open to all teams playing in a Cal South Sanctioned League in all play levels
In the Under 12 through under 17 ages, the Presidents division is open to all teams playing in a Cal South Sanctioned League in
Silver Elite division, or equal, or lower . The Champions in the U13 through U17 age groups will represent Cal South in the US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup Regionals. Cal South teams U14 through U17 who win the Region IV Presidents Cup will represent Cal South and Region IV in the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Finals
| NATIONAL CUP |
Must play National Cup. Open to teams in all play levels. Winning teams will represent Cal South at the USYS Far West Regionals, and winners from there in the U14-U19 age group will advance to USYS National Championship
All Teams may always "Play Up"
Bronze / AA-B / AA-C / Red and Green teams can enter National Cup or Presidents Cup, if they desire the increased competition
Silver Elite / AAA / Silver / AA-A and Blue can enter National Cup, if they desire the increased competition
Teams may not "Play Down"
Only Bronze teams, AA-B / Red, AA-C / Green, Central Coast League teams, and Bakersfield league teams can play Governors Cup
Silver Elite / AAA / Silver / AA-A / Blue and U11 Gold teams must play at least Presidents Cup and cannot play Governors Cup
Premier or Gold teams (except U11 Gold) must play National Cup and cannot play Presidents or Governors Cup
LA Futbol Circuit, Central Coast Soccer League, Bakersfield Soccer League, Signature Leagues and other Leagues
Teams may select the level of competition at which they are competitive
The State Cup Committee will review and may adjust the play levels teams select based on actual league results

Governors Division - $495 (Anytime)
Presidents Division - $495 through Sept 30, 2009 ( Early entry discount), $595 after Sept 30, 2009

State Cup Younger tentative start for all age brackets is January 30, 2010. Tentative finish is February 27, 2010.
State Cup Older tentative start for U14 through U19 age brackets is April 10, 2010 with a tentative finish of April 25, 2010.
We will determine the exact dates when we have all applications in for an age groups and we know how many fields we will have available to work with. When entering State Cup competition, please plan on playing any and/or all of the above dates for your age/competition groups.
USYS Presidents Cup Regionals: Medford, Oregon, June 9 - 13, 2010
USYS Presidents Cup National Finals at a site to be determined, July 7 - 11, 2010

The COLLEGE SHOWCASE Weekend featuring the National Cup U15 through U17 age groups will be held the weekend of May 08, 2010. Round of 16 games will be on the 8th with the round of 8 on the 9th
SAT NATIONAL TEST DATES (There are seven test dates, please do not ask us to give your team off on May 1, 2010)
