Referees

The Cal South Referee program's goal is to create and grow a qualified and well trained group of referees. These referees will be instructed at and held to the highest standards with the intent of maintaining a safe and enjoyable playing environment for Cal South members of all ages and skill levels. Cal South referees will thoroughly understand and appropriately apply the Laws of the Game. The Cal South Referee program strives to actively recruit, develop, certify and advance referees for all levels of play.

Important Information: If You Are Planning On Upgrading to and/or Maintaining a State Level Grade...

We have now obtained official approval to:

1. Extend the deadline for completing the assessments for the 2009 registration year, into 2009.

2. Waive one assessment. This is just a one-time action that applies only to the 2009 registration year. The waived assessment will not have to done later.

We thank Mr. Brooks McCormick, National Referee Committee Chairman, for considering and acting on our requests that will help our state referees meet their requirements for 2009.

Referees please submit your registration application, paperwork ASAP, as we're tracking your progress in meeting the requirements.

So, You Have Not Received Your Badge or I.D. Card...

If your name is listed on the 2009 list of registered officials and you have not received your 2009 badge or ID card, please contact USSF directly as they are responsible for mailing out the packets.

Please call 312.808.1300 and ask for the referee department.

If you have lost or need a replacement badge. You can order a badge online directly from the USSF website. You must be a registered referee to do this.
