December 9, 2010 – Ten Cal South clubs were honored by Soccer America this week its annual lists of the Top 30 youth soccer clubs in America were announced. Four of the ten Cal South clubs were named to the Top 10 in their respective genders: LAFC (#3 boys club), So Cal Blues (#3 girls club), Arsenal FC (#8 girls club) and San Diego Surf (#10 girls club).

FULLERTON, CA (June 8, 2010) - The Cal South Board of Directors passed an amendment at a Special Meeting of the Members on Saturday, June 5, 2010 preceding the regular monthly Board of Directors meeting, which officially changed the corporate name of the organization to the California State Soccer Association - South (Cal South).

Sports Authority has become Cal South's official sporting goods retailer. The partnership joins our association with one of the nation's largest sporting goods retailers with nearly 40 stores conveniently located to Cal South families.

FULLERTON, CA (May 21, 2010) - In keeping with its long-standing tradition of donating funds to aid teams in its membership who are traveling to regionally and nationally held championship events, Cal South announced the donation of roughly $210,000 to 47 youth and 7 adult teams
