April 6, 2012 - Cal South's District 5 Commissioner Rick McCown has announced that three recreational leagues have been honored with the district's inaugural "League of Excellence" awards.

The three leagues which received this award are the Temecula Valley Soccer Association, Yucaipa Valley Youth Soccer and the Horsethief Canyon Soccer Association. Yucaipa Valley Youth Soccer was also the recent recipient of the Kohl's Recreational Achievement Award at the 2012 Cal South Awards Banquet, held in Los Angeles in February (story here).
