PREVIEW: 16 CAL SOUTH TEAMS HEADED TO LAS VEGAS FOR FINAL NATIONAL LEAGUE GIRLS WEEKEND

The final round of games of the 2015-16 US Youth Soccer National League Girls season is on the horizon and 16 Cal South teams will be looking to end their participation on a high note as they head to Las Vegas this weekend.

Up for play will be 15 berths that will allow the winners and runners-up to advance onto the 2016 US Youth Soccer National Championships that will be held from July 25-31 at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas. This weekend’s activity will be held at the Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex, same venue that hosted the final round of the National League Boys season last weekend and that saw four Cal South teams earn their tickets to the next round.

Albion SC, Carlsbad Elite, Arsenal FC, and Beach FC will have a tough battle to earn their berth for the next round, as they match up against fellow Cal South talent. On Sunday, March 20, Albion and Carlsbad will match up against each other looking to guarantee the three points that will take them to the next round in the U16 category. That same day, Arsenal and Beach FC will attempt to do the same, but in the U17 division.

Just last year, four Cal South teams participated in the tournament and were crowned champions by the end of the tournament. The following are the Cal South teams that will participate in this weekend’s action:
