Cal South Teams Competing at the USASA National Cup Finals
Men's Over 30 San Diego Surf Men's Open Doxa Italia
Men's Amateur PSA Elite Women's U23 Eagles SC

Three of the four teams earned their spots through their victorious play at USASA Region IV National Cups events in May (Men's Open Doxa Italia) and June (Men's Amateur PSA Elite and Men's Over 30 San Diego Surf). The fourth team -- reigning Women's U23 national champions Eagles SC of Camarillo, California -- will be attempting to win an unprecedented fourth age-specific national championship title. In 2010, the Eagles become only the second side in the 32-year history of women's youth and adult championships ever to win three United States national titles. The first team was Colorado Rush of Littleton, Colorado, who won the US Youth Soccer U17, U18 and U19 National Championships from 1999 through 2001.

Each of the Cal South adult teams received a total subsidy of $3000 to aid in their expenses for attending the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) National Cup Finals. Each team also received a subsidy of $5,000 directly from the USASA for this same purpose. To read the full story about these donations, click here.

Scores from this competition will be posted here throughout the weekend. Keep checking back for updates!
