Medford, OR (June 19, 2010) - UPDATED 8:35 PM - Live scoring updates from Day Three of the 2010 US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup. Preliminary matches for the tournament will take place from Thursday, June 17 through Saturday, June 19, with each team in each age bracket playing three matches (except for the BU15 bracket, where four preliminary matches are played). There will be semi-final matches held for only four age
brackets: BU16, GU13, GU15 and GU16. All finals matches for the Region IV Presidents Cup will be held on Sunday, June 20.
The overall record of Cal South teams during the second day of the preliminaries was 16 wins and 2 draws against only a single loss. Combined with the first day's preliminary record, Cal South teams have gone a cumulative 34 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses heading into today's action. Cal South has 19 teams - 10 Cal South State Cup champions and 9 wild cards - in the Region IV Presidents Cup. Cal South teams U14 through U17 who win the Region IV Presidents Cup will then represent Cal South and Region IV in the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Finals in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to be held July 8-11, 2010.
