(April 26, 2010) - Cal South State Cup champions in the remaining thirteen age brackets were crowned on Saturday, April 24, as play in the State Cup Olders brackets concluded at the Lancaster National Soccer Center. Four champions (BU14, GU14, BU15 and GU15) were named in the Governors Cup Division, while the other nine champions (BU14-U17, BU19, and GU14-U17) were named in the Presidents Cup Division. The other six age brackets (Governors GU16-U17 and BU16; Presidents GU18-U19 and BU18) were
crowned after the previous weekend's action.
Presidents Cup Division champions in the U13 through U17 age groups will now move on to represent Cal South in the US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup Regionals in Medford, Oregon, which will be held June 15-20. Cal South teams U14 through U17 who win the Region IV Presidents Cup will then represent Cal South and Region IV in the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Finals in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to be held July 8-11.
