FOUR CAL SOUTH PLAYERS HEADED TO FLORIDA AND MEXICO CITY WITH U.S U-17 WOMENS NATIONAL TEAM

So Cal Blues players Kennedy Wesley and Isabella D’Aquila, Kate Wiesner of Slammers FC and Mia Fishel of San Diego Surf will represent Cal South and Southern California when they join the United States U-17 Women’s National Team Training Camp from Nov. 11 to 19. The camp will kick off in Sunrise, Fla., before the group lead by head coach Mark Carr head to Mexico City on Nov. 14.

During their time in Mexico City, the U.S U-17 WNT will face Mexico’s U-17 WNT on Nov. 16 and 18 at Mexico’s National Training Center. Both games will serve as preparation for both squads ahead of the 2018 CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championship that will be held next spring in Nicaragua. The top three teams of the competition will qualify to the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay.
