CAL SOUTH HOSTS ANNUAL HALL OF FAME LUNCHEON AND AWARDS CEREMONY

Cal South honored the best of the best in the annual Hall of Fame Luncheon and Awards Ceremony on Saturday afternoon at the Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach.

With over 400 guests gathered at the Bixby Ballroom, including U.S. Youth Soccer CEO Chris Moore, players Carlos Bocanegra, Amy Rodriguez, referee Rosalie Kramm, and Coach Darwin Dallas were inducted into the Cal South Hall of Fame as the Class of 2016. The quartet will join the long list of Hall of Famers that include Cobi Jones, Eric Wynalda, Marcelo Balboa and Shannon MacMillan.

Chris Price was honored by Derek Barraza with the President’s Award, while 12 Cal South coaches were presented the Excellence in Coaching Award by Steve Hoffman, Director of Coaching and Player Development, standing out each of their long lists of accomplishments and dedication to Cal South. 

National Cup Champions Legends FC GU14 and GU15, Carlsbad Elite GU18 and FC Golden State White BU18 were also present to be honored by Cal South, as well as U.S. Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Championship teams and finalists.
