|Cal South Introduces Major Changes in Sanctioned Tournament Promotions|
Download insertion order here
Over the past couple of years, Cal South has taken in a lot of feedback concerning how we list and help promote our sanctioned tournaments in our various publications and on our website, www.CalSouth.com. We now officially announce that numerous changes to this process are now in effect, with a launch of new sanctioned tournament advertising options in early January 2013.
Starting in January, we will direct all coaches to the online Sanctioned Tournament Listing where, for the first time, EVERY sanctioned tournament will have their logo and information listed. Inclusion of a tournament's logo on our website will now be an automatic benefit of being a Cal South sanctioned tournament. The online listing will display all upcoming sanctioned tournaments, including logos, entry deadlines, fees, age brackets, locations and vital contact
The annual Tournament Guide and monthly Tournament Spotlight emails that were part of the former Tournament Guide Package will no longer be produced, nor will listings be placed in Cal South Soccer Magazine following the November issue. To replace the Tournament Guide and Spotlight, we will offer two new and exciting advertising options:
• Enhanced listing on the Sanctioned Tournaments page at www. CalSouth.com
* Highlighted listing.
* Additional 200-character, mouse-over pop-up description. Showcase your tournament and describe unique features; e.g. "fields located less than 5 miles from Disneyland", "play against international teams" etc.
• Monthly email blast ad spaces.
* Emails sent to 20,000+ coaches and league VIPs at the start of each month.
* Tournaments may purchase positions in multiple months' emails to get additional exposure.
* Prices are tiered and based on your ad location. Ad location based on first-come, first-serve availability. The first email will be sent early January 2013.
* Tournaments that do not purchase an ad will NOT be directly listed in the email. All monthly emails will be sent with a link back to the online listing that includes ALL Cal South sanctioned tournaments.
These advertising options are available exclusively to Cal South sanctioned tournaments. Click here to download our insertion order for examples and rates.
Information about Cal South Sanctioned Tournaments will also be distributed at the "Big 3" annual soccer shows in early 2013: the combined NSCAA Coaches Convention/US Youth Soccer Workshop in Indianapolis, Indiana and Cal South's own Soccer Nation Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center on February 16 and 17, 2013.
