2011 AGM HOSTED IN LAS VEGAS

The U.S. Soccer Federation 2011 Annual General Meeting will be held from Feb. 11-12, 2011, at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev. The Flamingo Las Vegas served as host to U.S. Soccer's 2006 Annual General Meeting and is located in close proximity to many of Las Vegas' key attractions.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is U.S. Soccer's national conference, which includes a meeting of the Board of Directors and the National Council meeting. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) serves as U.S. Soccer's national meeting with all constituents from the youth, adult, professional and athlete councils. Representatives from each of these councils discuss administrative issues, review and vote on rule changes and conduct various other businesses during the course of the event.

USASA AGM

The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), being the adult constituent, holds an Annual General Meeting while at the U.S. Soccer event as well. Regional meetings are generally held on day one of the event, where representatives from each of the four USASA regions discuss administrative issues, as well as conduct various other businesses regarding adult soccer.

USASA's AGM also includes a Council Meeting to touch on topics such as elections, discussion and approval of policy changes, financial plans, and officers and committees reports.
