The "D" License is strongly recommended for all competitive coaches of players 15 years old and up .

This 36-hour course is the most comprehensive course offered and is preparatory for National "C" licensing.

To participate, a candidate must hold an "E" License for a minimum of six months.

Schedule: "D" License courses will be scheduled over a total of three weekends.

• Weekend One: Saturday-Sunday practical and lecture sessions.
• Weekend Two: The candidate will complete all take-home testing and prepare four sessions for training their teams, and then hand in a copy to the staff coaches.
• Weekend Three: Testing. Coaches will be asked to conduct two practical sessions and complete their oral testing.

Testing Results:

• Candidates will receive a Ready (National "D" License) or Not Ready grade.
• It takes 3-4 weeks to receive your course results.
• Candidates receiving a Not Ready grade will be allowed to re-test for a National "D" License for a $25 fee. However, they must wait a period of six months before re-testing.

All "D" License course candidates will receive their pre-course materials via email seven (7) days prior to the start of the course.

All Candidates will receive the USSF "D" License Course workbook, a Cal South Lesson Planner, and a Nike t-shirt at a retail value of $45.
