Lila Smith has been involved in the Southern California youth soccer for over 16 years. She began as a registrar for a couple of leagues in San Diego. She helped new start up leagues with registration at the District 1 Commissioner's request.

Lila has served Cal South in a variety of positions, first as District 1 RM in 1999, then became Risk Management Chair as well as serving on the State Cup Committee for over 15 years. She has served on the Cal South Board of Directors as the Secretary for the past four years.

Professionally, Lila has been employed in the Commercial Insurance industry for the past 30 years, currently servicing large clients on a Risk Management level.

Lila and her husband Mike have been married for 31 years. Together they have served Cal South at a variety of levels of involvement within the association. They have raised three children, Jacob, Luis and Angelica, all of whom grew up playing youth soccer in Cal South programs.
